The September wishlist
- Miss Selfridge embroidered boots. At this point, we're all aware of the fact that embroideries are one of the top trends of the season, since they can turn any simple piece of clothing into something special and dressed up. We've mostly seen them in jackets, dresses and jeans, but embroidered shoes? That's THE DREAM. I instantly fell in love with this Miss Selfridge ones as soon as I spotted them on ASOS. The floral design, paired with quite a chunky heel (comfort is my #1 rule when it comes to shoes) and the round toe makes them perfect for autumn and even the colder months (if you can avoid the rain). So, we all agree that this are a must, right?
- Coco Chanel Life Portraits. Recently, I've been interested on reading more books about fashion icons, but I wanted to find something that wasn't the regular biography, and that's when I came across this little book. Far from being a the longest compilation of words ever, it's an illustrated biography of the one and only Coco Chanel. It may not contain a lot of information, but it gives you a hint of her exceptional life and work and has the most beautifully drawn pics, so the visual experience is 100% covered.
- Yu Ling roller. I first saw this rollers in a Lisa Eldridge video (where else, huh?), but I have to confess that I forgot about them until Anna showed them in a recent video of hers. Facial massages are something that I rarely do, but when I have one I really enjoy them. I prefer to do them myself in Sunday evenings as my last pamper routine step, so I figured that this jade and rose quartz rollers could be a good purchase. They help tone up facial muscles, increase micro-circulation, stimulate detoxification and aid absoption of skincare, and thanks to the tiny side, you can also short out under-eye puffiness and dark circles. Sounds efective to me.
- Zara flowy trench coat. I think most of us struggle a bit during this time of the year, when it isn't cold yet but summer is definitely gone. About a month ago, I found this trench on my weekly stroll around Zara and I loved it as soon as I tried it on, but considering that it was 40 degrees outside I managed to leave it in the store. Now that the temperatures have dropped, I don't have anything holding me back from purchasing it. Giving its above the knee lenght, flowy fabric and side slits, it's really fitting and just perfect for this in-between weather.
