The December wishlist
- Bad Girls Throughout History. Feminism and history are two of my favourite things to read about, and if we combine that with beautiful illustrations, I'm completely sold. This book is a compilation of 100 revolutionary women who changed the world being some of the best artists, scientists or activists of their time, accomplishing things that no man had achieved before. From Cleopatra to Tina Fey, this one is a read that you can't miss if you want to know more about girl power and the things women are capable of.
- Bamboo Toothbrushes. Lately I've been trying to find more environmentally sustainable alternatives to some of the things I use on a regular basis, specially when it comes to beauty products. Toothbrushes are something no one pays much attention to, but after doing a bit of researching, Ive found out that using these bamboo ones is much better for both us and the environment. They are 100% biodegradable, vegan and BPA free, which makes them a natural alternative to plastic toothbrushes.
- The Ordinary Niacinamide + Zinc serum. Yes, the skincare junk strikes again. My search for the perfect serum seems to be never-ending, and this one has some ingredients that I haven't tried yet like vitamin B3. It claims to reduce the appearence of blemishes and congestion while balancing the sebum activity of the skin, benefits that my complexion would really appreciate. The formulation seems to be right up my street and the product itself is really affordable, so how could I resist to give it a try?
- See by ChloƩ Polly bag. It's not a usual thing for me (or probably average people in general) to buy designer bags, but with the excuse of Christmas being around the corner I've been looking at the Net-a-Porter website more than I should. I wanted something small yet practical that I could wear day and night, with sneakers or heels. The ChloƩ Polly bag has quite a 'hippie' feel to it but it still looks modern and luxurious, making it a good present to find under the tree (*wink wink*).
