The October wishlist

- Peter Thomas Roth Pumpkin Enzyme Mask. To me, October means the beginning of autumn, and what screams autumn more than pumpkin? That being said, after trying a travel size of this mask I can confirm that it's basically Thanksgiving season in a jar. Apart from having a great smell (you'll have to make a real effort not to eat it), it exfoliates and polishes skin to achieve an even skin tone and smooth fine lines. Whether you suffer from dull and congested complexion or you just want to know what it feels like to have pumpkin pie on your face, give this one a go.

- Oysho strappy nightdress. If you read Velours Continent's latest post about trends (if you haven't, what are you waiting for?), you're probably on the haunt for a lingerie dress to pair with a basic white t-shirt and a pair of Adidas' Stan Smith. I was doing the same thing but none of the silky gowns that I tried on convinced me, until I found this microfibre number. It might not be as luxurious as a shiny one, but it's way comfier and it sits better on the parts of my body that I want it to. Plus, it's technically a pijama, so you have the perfect excuse to sleep in your clothes.

- The Little Book of Skin Care. Koreans have a completely different beauty philoshopy compared to ours, and having in mind how good their complexions look I was very interested in learning their point of view about skin care. This book, written by Charlotte Cho (founder of Soko Glam, a website about Korean cosmetics, beauty trends and skin care routines), contains a bunch of tutorials, technques, tips and advice to get that glowy and healthy skin we all aim for.

- ASOS snake mix crossbody bag. Speaking of autumnal vibes, finding a bag for this time of the year might be easy if you're just looking for a regular brown/taupe one, but for those who want to venture into more interesting mixes the task gets a bit harder. I wouldn't usually go for an orange and purple bag, but this ASOS one has the right amount of both shades to make it different yet wearable. It's also small but very practical, as it can be worn from day to night and with a wide variety of looks. Yet again, ASOS have nailed it.
