Best of: PFW Fall 2016 Ready-to-Wear

Fashion month has come to an end, but before waving goodbye to it until next fall, we have one more stop to do. Paris held some of the most luxurious and glamorous shows last week, and here's a sneak peak for you.

- Balmain. Neutral monochrome looks with tones like ice grey, pale pink and baby blue were Olivier Rousteing's choice for this season. Following the house's tradition, mini skirts, waist-shaper belts and high necklines were the key elements, but this time they had a Rococo vibe to them. That influence was also visible in the velvety fabrics and golden details, achieving an ornate and graceful collection.

- Lanvin. Sophisticated dresses with tight waists and fabrics like silk and lace made Lanvin's show feel like a 70's throwback. Simple lines were joined by more special elements like ruffles and shoulder pads to create that mixture between "old-fashioned" and contemporary, all of them decorared with some stunning jewelry.

- Nina Ricci. A neutral colour scheme was this show's signature, but unlike Balmain, Nina Ricci's palette was filled with darker tones like forest green and burgundy. The majority of the looks were perfect for fall and winter, since knit, midi skirts and long coats were the most seen pieces. But of course, Guillaume Henry came out with a few dresses for evenings out and about.

- Stella McCartney. Minimalism was bundled up with completely opposite patterns like the one that filled pants and tops with little swans, but apart from that, the collection was quite simple and wearable. Silky and lacy dresses were joined by almost imperceptible necklaces and earrings, which added that touch without making the looks too in your face.

- Valentino. Just by taking a look at those nude tones, tights and flowy dresses, you can see that the show was inspired by ballet dancers. Layering velvety dresses on top of high neck tops worked perfectly combined with Valentino's signature details like crystals and transparences and those fluid fabrics that we are used to.
