Watch, listen, read | October
- WATCH: How To Get Away With Murder.
I know I'm a bit late to this party, but a couple of weeks ago I decided to watch the first episode of this show and now I'm converted. I used to be such a fan of Grey's Anatomy, so I know how adictive Shonda Rhimes' productions can be. HTGAWM (yes, the title could have been a little shorter) centers around Annalise Keating (a prestigious attorney and law professor portrayed by Viola Davis) and five of her students who get involved in a murder plot. The best thing about this series is that there's never a dull moment, so you won't even have time to recover from the previous one between episodes.
- LISTEN: The Killers.
Who doesn't remember Brandon Flowers' Dior feather jacket back in the day? Well, on top of being a style icon, he and the rest of the killers are also awesome musicians, proof of that being their four albums. It's now been a while since they released new music, but according to the latest news they're working on their fifth record, so maybe we can expect new tunes in 2017. In the meantime we can still listen to hits like All This Things That I've Done, Sam's Town, Leave The Bourbon On The Shelf...
- READ: «Stone Junction» by Jim Dodge.
I've read a lot of bizarre books in my life (since they're my favourites, let's be honest), and this one has got to be one of them. The fact that it has an introduction by Thomas Pynchon was the first thing that caught my eye, but when I read the plot I was completely sold. The novel narrates Daniel Pearse's life journey amid magic and mayhem, all guided by a misterious organization named AMO. It combines folklore and fantasy but in a really modern way, which makes it really interesting yet enjoyable.
