Ever since I started wearing make up on a daily basis a few years ago, I have been trying to build up the perfect 'grab and go' mix of products. During this time I have tried A LOT of stuff (from high end to drugstore), and now I finally feel like I've found the best bits of each category.

Foundation wise I've been using the Too Faced Born This Way for a couple of months and I absolutely love it. It provides almost full coverage but at the same time it manages to look fresh and natural, plus it lasts the whole day without making you look like a disco ball within hours of wearing it. The perfect foundation for combination to oily skin? Check.

A product that I always struggle with is concealer. I have very dark and dehydrated under eyes, so finding the right product for this particular area isn't easy. The Urban Decay Naked Concealer is on the top of my wishlist, but in the meantime I've been using a MAC Painterly Paint Pot. This might sound weird, but it actually works wonders for my skin tone. At first I bought it to use it as an eyeshadow primer but giving that it wasn't able to handle my oily eyelids I decided to find another use for it and I think I nailed it. I apply it under my foundation as a pre-corrector since it has a pinky tone, et voilà, under eye purpleness be gone.

Even though the foundation has a great coverage I have some areas where a bit of concealer is needed, and for those I use the Make Up For Ever Full Cover Concealer. It's quite dense and thick so I only apply a little amount, but it is enough since it's really pigmented. I wouldn't recommend using it on the under eye area 'cause it can be a bit too drying, but it works great on the rest of the face.

Once I finish with my base I set everything with MAC Studio Fix Powder. I like this one because it provides a bit of extra coverage and holds the make up in place for long hours, but it can look a bit too matte and flat if you apply too much. Right now I'm on the haunt for a more glowy-ish powder, so any recommendations are welcome.



When it comes to eyes I don't bother with eyeshadows or liner. I only apply my favourite mascara, the KIKO Ultra Tech Curve and I'm ready to roll. I don't tend to wear anything on my lips either so I finish my make up with a bit of Too Faced Milk Chocolate Bronzer and some brow gel and that's it.

It might seem like I use a lot of products for an everyday make up but it literally takes me 10 minutes to put all of them on my face so I'm pretty happy with my choices.
